Overview

A large fintech client needed accounting software shaped around its business. MyAccounting is a client product delivered through Vlowzy AI, connecting my technical work with product and business responsibility.

Scope

AI-native accounting software for an unnamed fintech client. I lead delivery through Vlowzy, working across requirements, the full-stack build and the integrity expected of financial software.

Product scope

Main features

01

Accounting workspace

A shared web workspace for company-specific accounting operations, connecting the interface to the underlying transaction and company data.

02

Posting & financial integrity

Accounting workflows built around double-entry posting, controlled money arithmetic and traceable transactions.

03

Company boundaries & permissions

Company-scoped data access and role-aware actions support a product that handles more than one organisational context.

04

Demo & connected modes

The interface architecture distinguishes demonstration workflows from company-backed execution, so a product walkthrough can be separated from persisted business operations.

Tools & responsibilities

Technology

Next.js, React & TypeScript

Web application and typed accounting interfaces.

Tailwind & component primitives

Consistent workspace layouts, forms and reusable UI.

NestJS

A modular backend that groups business responsibilities within one application.

PostgreSQL & Drizzle

Relational accounting data, typed database access and transaction-scoped company context.

Microsoft Entra

Business identity and sign-in integration.

CASL

Action-level authorisation in the application.

Decisions & trade-offs

Engineering approach

A modular monolith

Keep accounting responsibilities in explicit modules without introducing a separate service for every feature. This preserves clear boundaries while keeping delivery and transaction handling manageable.

Tenant context reaches the database

Company scoping is carried into database transactions and row-level security, rather than depending only on interface filtering.

Financial correctness

Double-entry posting, auditability and permissions guide the implementation, alongside the AI-assisted product workflows.

What I worked on

  • Lead product delivery and build MyAccounting as AI-native accounting software for the client.
  • Work across technical implementation, product requirements and client delivery as Vlowzy AI’s co-founder.
  • Alongside MyAccounting, deliver AI agents, RAG chatbots, dashboards and web applications for service businesses.

Results & scope

End to end

product delivery through Vlowzy AI

  • AI-native accounting software built for a large fintech company.
  • Broader client work supports 24/7 customer service, lead qualification, outreach and internal workflows in hospitality, healthcare and education.
